Rhoda A. “Randi” Woessner, age 68, of Marion, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Marion General Hospital.
Randi was born, one of four daughters, on April 27, 1947 in Marion, Ohio to the late Homer W. and Dorotha (Mitchell) Davis.
Randi was a 1965 graduate of Marion Harding High School and later attended The Ohio State University.
On June 17, 1967 Randi became a loving and devoted wife to Dave Woessner. Together they raised three wonderful children who will deeply miss their mother.
Randi had a heart of gold and willingly opened her home to all in need. In addition to raising three children, she worked as a cook at the Marion City Schools. In later years, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Randi will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by children, Jennifer (Matt) Beltz of Marion; Andrea Woessner of California, and Adam Woessner, of Texas; grandchildren, Ryan Beltz, Courtney Beltz Shoemaker, Joshua Beltz, and Connor Beltz, and great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Emmilynn, and Kynleigh Beltz; sisters, Virginia (Jack) Somerlot, Rachel Cunningham, and Marilyn (Vance) Kelley, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 7PM at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors on Monday, July 6, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held11AM at Trinity Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 with Dr. Richard Farmer officiating.
