Robert W. Fair, Sr., age 67, of Marion, Ohio passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 O.S.U. Hospital Zusman Hospice.
He was born April 12, 1948 in Marion, Ohio to the late Albert and Viola (Hall) Fair. On August 20, 1966 he married Mary L. (Mueck). Robert was employed at United Facilities as a supervisor for 30 years until his retirement in 1998.
He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Fair of Marion, OH; four children, Tammie S. Hughes of La Rue, OH, Lorrie A. Carpenter of Prospect, OH, Amy M. Fish of Nashville, TN, Robert W. Fair Jr. of Marion, OH; three grandchildren, Jennifer N. Dye, C. Kyle Fish, Ethan S. Carpenter; two great grandchildren, MaKya and Malix; two sisters, Ruth Ann (Tom) Smith of Iowa and Bernice Balch of Marion, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Donald, Albert “Junior”, Carl and Howard Fair; and four sisters, Lucille Chick, Marcena Saunders, Elberta Commeau and Shirley Krueger.
Visitation for Robert Sr. will be held Friday, July 24, 2015 from 10-11 AM at the Boyd-Born funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 AM Friday, July 24, 2015 at LaRue Cemetery with Pastor Dwight Hord officiating.
