Doris Kaelber Groves, age 84, of Marion, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Kingston of Marion.
Doris was born on the family farm in Delaware County to the late Jacob Wesley and Alma Inez (Moyer) Kaelber.
After graduating High School, Doris attended nursing school and The Ohio State University for two years studying Home Economics.
On December 29, 1951 Doris married Warren Olley Groves who survives.
Doris enjoyed reading especially newspaper articles, sewing for her family, listening to classical piano music and long drives in the country. The most important aspect of Doris’ life was her family.
In addition to Warren, Doris will be deeply missed by children, David (Jonathan) Weintraub and Ginny Groves; grandchild, Micah (Jenifer) Weintraub; great-grandchild, Jacob Weintraub; and twin brother, Don Kaelber.
Doris was predeceased by siblings, Margaret Bernow; twins, Ruth Retterer and Robert Kaelber and sister-in-law Dorothy Kaelber.
