Marilyn Eileen Dennis, age 87, of Marion and formerly of New Bloomington, Ohio passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015, at 9:20 PM in the Marion Manor Nursing Home.
She was born in Prospect, Ohio on January 4, 1929 to Pearl L. and Gertrude (Wood) Redmon.
Marilyn married Robert Leroy Dennis in Greenup, KY. on January 11, 1947 and he preceded her in death on December 24, 2011.
She was a 1946 graduate of Prospect High School. For 26 years, she and her husband spent their winters in Zephur Hills, Florida.
This stay-at-home mom is survived by three sons; Russ (Judith) Dennis of Marion, OH., Ronald Wayne (Renee) Dennis of Cardington, OH., and Roger Lyn (Angela) Dennis of Marion, OH., one brother; Robert Redmon of Richwood, OH., eight grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
Marilyn was preceded in death by three brothers; David, Gerald, & Lowell Redmon, and two sisters; Maxine Brown & Betty Johnson.
A graveside service will be held in the Prospect Cemetery on Friday, August 14, 2015, at 11:00 AM. Rev. Josh Freshour will officiate. No calling hours will be observed.
