Anna Elizabeth Williamson, age 90 of Marion, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Marion Manor in Marion.
Anna was born on July 12, 1925 in Norton, Ohio, the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Winfield) Ratterman.
Anna went to Edison High School through her junior year then in 1943 she graduated from Marion Harding High School. She worked for 25 years at Uhler’s Department Store and retired as a Sales Associate from Uhlmans. She was a former member of the Wesley United Methodist Church then a present member of the Community Christian Center in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Also, she was a member of the Y-Gradale Sorority.
She married William Edward Williamson on September 17, 1945 in Greenup, Kentucky.
She is survived by her husband, William E. Williamson; two sons: Gary L. (Verna) Williamson of Big Island, OH and William A. (Molly) Williamson of Upper Sandusky, OH; one daughter, Karen Kay (Kenneth) Kurz of South Hill, VA; seven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
Anna is preceded in death by two brothers: Norman Ratterman and Andrew F. Ratterman; and one grandson, Jason Williamson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home from 6PM to 8PM and Wednesday, September 23, 2015 from 10AM to 11AM. Funeral Service will held at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 11AM with Pastor Bill Williamson officiating. Graveside will follow service in the Chapel Heights Cemetery.
