Marilyn A. Thompson, 76, of Marion

Marilyn A. Thompson, age 76, of Marion passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 1:02 AM at the DeWolfe Place.

She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on April 27, 1939 to the late Oscar and Alice (Curl) Mohrman.

Marilyn married Wayne A. Thompson in West Mansfield, Ohio on June 21, 1959 and he preceded her in death on August 8, 2001 in Marion.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

The lifelong homemaker is survived by one son; Jeffrey (Brenda) Thompson of Cardington, OH., one daughter; Kristy Withrow of Marion, OH., one sister; Kay Unverzagt of Ashley, OH., four grandchildren; Eric (Amanda Lynn) Withrow, Amanda Joy Withrow, Brady Thompson, & Logan Thompson, and one great grandson; Jackson Withrow.

Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Thursday, October 1, 2015, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. Pastor Steve deWeber will conduct the funeral service in the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 AM with burial to follow in the Grand Prairie Cemetery.
