Ronald David Osborne Jr., devoted husband, selfless father, and loving brother, age 63, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 30, 2015, at OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Ronald was born on November 10, 1951 to Ronald Dean and Grace Elizabeth (Gushurst) Osborne in Marion, OH.
On September 21, 1980 he married Margo Kay Grate who survives. They were husband and wife for 35 years.
He worked as a mechanic for CSX Railroad for many years as well as Parker Hannifin.
He was a man of many gifts and spent countless hours farming, being the family car mechanic, and selflessly serving his family in any way possible. He was a man of deep faith and never wavered in his love and service to God. He instilled this strong faith into his family, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion.
He is survived by his wife; Margo, along with his five daughters; Jessica Kay of Marion, OH., Jennifer Marie (Curtis) Banker of Richmond, IN., Jodi Lynn of Columbus,OH., Jamie Leah(Joshua) Falk of Marion,OH., and Joanna Renee of Marion, OH. He is also survived by his father; Ronald Dean Osborne of Marion, OH., two sisters; Peggy Lee (Dave) Burns of Marion, OH. and Teresa Jean Fawley of Marion, OH., as well as a niece; Tracy Elizabeth Reynolds and a great niece Faith Elizabeth Reynolds.
He was preceded in death by his mother; Grace Elizabeth and nephew; Christopher Dean Reynolds.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, from 5-8 PM. Pastor Chuck Osborne will conduct the funeral service in The Dayspring Wesleyan Church on Thursday at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.
