Gregg Alan Murray, age 57, was surrounded by loved ones when he passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at the Marion General Hospital. He was born in Marion, Ohio on October 11, 1958 to Gary and Virginia (Faine) Murray.
Gregg was a caregiver for Basinger, Inc. Services for many years and most recently with Community Living Experiences, Inc. He was a member of the Lockhart Pentecostal Church in Orlando, Florida. He was the most likeable person to meet and an excellent wood craftsman. While living in Florida, he took his love of wood and owned a cabinet shop.
Gregg will truly be missed by family and his many friends.
He is survived by his parents: Gary and Virginia (Faine) Murray of Marion; one brother: Grant (Sarah) Murray of Marion; one niece Catherine “Cate” Murray of Marion; and an ex-wife: Cindy Quails of Florida.
Visitation will begin on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 10 AM to 12 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Service will be on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 12 PM. Burial will follow the service at Chapel Heights Cemetery.
