Jacqueline Henry “Jacque” Chamberlain, 80, of Marion

Jacqueline Henry, “Jacque” Chamberlain, age 80, of Marion and formerly of Tampa Bay, Florida, died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 21, 2015.

On December 8, 1934, Jacque was born in Tacoma, Washington, one of four children of the late William and Opal (Lockhart) Henry.  She graduated from Lincoln High School (Tacoma, WA) in the class of 1953.  She also graduated Summa Cum Laude from Marion Technical College.

With a love for the ocean and warm weather, Jacque moved to Tampa Bay, Florida, in 1988.  During her time there, she worked as a surgical assistant at the LeCroy, Delgado and Kamaris Endodontics office, a job she truly enjoyed.

Wanting to be closer to her family, Jacque returned to Marion, Ohio, in 2008.  She enjoyed doll making and crocheting, as well as spending time with family and her lifelong friend, Shirley Parker.

Left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Dana (Tara) Chamberlain of Marion; two grandchildren: Audrey “Katie” (Trevor) Davis, and Michelle (John) Taylor; a great-grandson, Evan Davis; a niece, Vikki Kruger; and a nephew, Marty Graves.

Including her parents, Jacque was preceded in death by her son, Brian Chamberlain; a brother, Joe Henry; and two sisters: Billie Jean Henry and Ruth Graves.

Services honoring Jacque’s life will be observed privately by her family in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.

Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home is honored to have been chosen to serve Jacque’s family and your condolences may be expressed to them by visiting www.SnyderFuneralHomes.com.
