James Harper of Marion passed away Wednesday October 7 2015 at Presidential Care Center.
James was born February 23, 1955 the son of the late Calvin and Neva (Schuster) Harper.
He was a 1973 graduate of Marion Harding High School.
James enjoyed many years working as a general laborer at Glen-Gery Brick until he was forced to retire due to his illness. He was an avid coin collector and loved watching football, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes.
James will be dearly missed by his children Jessica Harper of Nevada and Joe Harper of Missouri; grandchildren Peyton, Paxton, Evan, Alex, Zowie, and Heidi; sisters Linda Simmers of Marion, Ruth Kittle of North Carolina, Phyllis Taylor of Marion, and Shirley Kinsler of Marion. He was greeted at Heavens Gates by his mother and father.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home, 360 East Center St., Marion from 4pm to 6pm.
