Joyce E. Westler age 72 of Marion, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born June 14, 1943 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Maurice E. and Lucy S. (Kilgore) Weyhmeller.
On November 15, 1959 she married John C. Westler, he preceded her in death on June 14, 2015.
Joyce was formerly employed at Ranco Controls for 17 years and retired from Cardington Yutaka in 2009. In her earlier years she enjoyed bowling and bingo. She loved and supported her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in all their activities, especially going to their football games.
She is survived by her children, Janet Westler of Marion, Connie (Chuck) Baker of Marion, Jackie Austin of Marion, John “Barney” (Julie) Westler of Waldo, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, her sister, Roberta “Sid” Weyhmeller of Bellville, OH., and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jason, David and Robert Weyhmeller and her sister, Nelda Smith.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 from 1-3 and 5-7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 24, 2015 @ 10 AM with Lyle Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery.
