Petro “Pat” Regules, 82, of Prospect

Petro “Pat” RegulesPetro “Pat” Regules, age 82, of Prospect, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Marion General Hospital.

He was born October 17, 1933 in Marion, Ohio to the late Gust and Argyro (Loukes) Regules.

On May 12, 1963 he married Kathryne (Orphanos) Regules, she survives in Prospect.

Pat graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1951 attended Marion Tech, was a U.S Army Veteran, he was employed at GTE for 38 years as special services manager, a longtime member of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Columbus, Ohio. Also a member of the Masonic Lodge #70, Scottish Rite Free Masons of Columbus, Valley of Columbus Scottish Rite 32nd Degree, Aladdin Shriners  Club of Columbus, VFW Post #7201. General Telephone Phone Club, Flywheels Car Club where he loved showing his 1955 T-Bird and DeLorean, only two time president of the Marion Popcorn Festival and four time director of the Marion Popcorn Festival. He always looked forward to attending the Masters Golf Tournament.

Pat is survived by his wife, Kathryne Regules of Prospect; three children, Charles Regules of Prospect, James (Athanasia) Regules of Columbus, Andrea (Terry) Honaker of Marion; seven grandchildren, Lexie and Kassie Regules of Morgantown, WV, Katerina, Maria and Petros Regules of Columbus, Arri and Alex Honaker of Marion; his brother, Pete Regules Sr. of Zanesville; special nephew, Pete Regules Jr. of Orlando, FL; great nephew, Cooper Regules.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 4 – 8 PM with Trisagion Service at 6PM at The John C. Boler Center, 590 Forest Lawn Dr. Marion, Ohio. Funeral Services will be Monday, October 26, 2015 at 10 AM at The John C. Boler Center with Father Demetrios Gardikes officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery with the Marion County Veterans Council conducting Military Honors. The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is honored to serve the family during this difficult time.
