Ronald T. Hall, age 71, of Marion passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015, at 4:23 PM in the Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
He was born in Wheelwright, Kentucky on December 7, 1943 to the late Marlin and Dorothy (Woods) Hall.
On October 3, 1995 in Wise County, Virginia, Ron married the former Sherry L. Stanley and she survives in Marion.
He is also survived by two sons; Ronnie (Chantell) Hall and Jeff (Christie Hughes) Hall both of Marion, OH., two daughters; Kelly (Rich) Fraser of Cape Coral, FL. and Kim Petrovski-Stricklin of Navarre, FL., two brothers; Palmadge Hall of Otto, N.C. and Danny Ray (Lillian) Hall of Jacksonville, FL., two sisters; Alpha D. “Happy” Woods and Adalene Little both of Marion, OH., nine grandchildren, and two great grandsons. Ron is also survived by a special friend; Roger Moore and his family with whom he shared his love for drag racing.
Ron was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church on Crissinger Rd., a lifetime member of American Legion Post 162, and the Towing & Recovery Association of Ohio.
He has been owner & operator of Ron’s Towing Service for 47 years. A business he started in 1968.
A memorial service will be held in the First Freewill Baptist Church, 1449 Crissinger Rd., Marion, on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at 3:00 PM. Rev. Jerry Copley will conduct the service and burial will be at a later date. No visiting hours will be observed.
