Forrest Crumm, age 84 of Marion, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Marion General Hospital.
Forrest was born on February 13, 1931 in Greenup County, Kentucky, the son of Charles and Nora (Sammons) Crum. He graduated from Portsmouth West High School in the class of 1950. Forrest was a power operator at Martin Marietta for 42 years.
On August 23, 1980, Forrest was united in marriage to Edith P. Hopkins in New Boston, Ohio.
Forrest was a member of the Marion First Church of the Nazarene. He was a 50year member of the Male Chorus of Portsmouth. In his free time, he enjoyed watching Westerns and Oldies on television and was an avid reader.
He is survived by his wife Edith P. Crumm; his children: George (Brenda) Crumm, Mark (Karrie) Crumm, Brent (Cindy) Crumm and Richard Crumm; step-children: Kevin Remmy and Judi (Jeff) Freytag; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a sister Wilma James.
Forrest is preceded in death by his parents; 2 grandchildren and 9 siblings.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Marion First Church of the Nazarene, 233 W Church St, Marion, from 11AM to 1PM; Funeral services will immediately follow at 1PM will Pastor Don Diehl officiating; Burial will be in Marion Cemetery.
