Lenore Smith age 89 of Marion, Ohio passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born October 8, 1926 in Harrisville, West Virginia to the late Salis and Lona (Ralston) Carpenter.
On December 15, 1955 she married Walter Edwin Smith, he preceded her in death on August 3, 2009.
Lenore was employed for many years at Ralston Supply as a book keeper and was a longtime member of Fite Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth E. (Joanna Lee) Smith of New York and Hong Kong and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 4 – 7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, November 20, 2015 @ 2PM at the funeral home with Pastor David Carlye officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery.
