Jeanne L. Shifflet Oliver, age 53, of Marion, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the James Cancer Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 14, 1962 in Marion, Ohio to parents Jim and Fairy Shifflet also of Marion. Jeanne graduated from Ridgedale High School in 1980 where she was a member of the marching band, orchestra and choruses.
Jeanne was known by many who came in contact with her during her 20 years employment as the medical records clerk with Ohio Health (Smith Clinic).
Jeanne was the proud mother of two sons, Matt (Katie) Oliver of Grove City, OH and Adam (Nickie) Oliver of Columbus, OH, a sister Sharon Shifflet Boggs of Prospect, OH and a brother Gary (Linda) Shifflet of Las Vegas, NV.
Jeanne had four grandchildren: Mason, Emma, Zoey, and Evelyn. Jeanne was the aunt of Christopher Seitz of Worthington, OH, Robynn Burggraf Spicer of Prospect, OH and Jimmy Shifflet of Las Vegas, NV.
Visitation will be held between 5:00 and 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home located at 122 W. Columbia Street in Marion.
Funeral Services will be held at the Fair Park Community Baptist Church on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Pastor David Rush officiating. Burial will follow at the Grand Prairie Cemetery.
