Margaret C. Browning, age 100, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 7, 2015 surrounded by family at the Marion Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on March 7, 1915 to the late Peter and Daisy (Richerson) Cockrell.
On November 12, 1930, Margaret married the late Arthur H. Browning for 64 years.
She is survived by a son, Paul Douglas (Elaine) Browning of Garland, TX; a brother-in-law, Donald Boyle of Mt. Gilead, OH; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great grandchildren; and one great-great-great grandchild; many numerous nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; husband; three daughters: Geraldine Sayre, Elaine Boyle, and Dianna Stapleton; one son: Peter A. Browning; one sister: Francis Wilkinson; one brother: Charles Cockrell.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 10, 2015 starting at 4 PM to 7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home in Marion, Ohio. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown, Ohio.
