Margaret (Peg) Long, 84, of Marysville, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 24, 2015.
Formerly of Marion, Margaret was born on January 23, 1931 in Long Island, NY and was the daughter of the late Edwin K. and Florence Cullen Smith.
She was preceded in death by her brother James E. Smith. She is survived by 5 children: Steven (Sheila) Long of Fontana, CA; Robin Hudson of Marysville; Jodi (Calvin) Thompson of Prospect, Brian (Vikki) Long of Upper Sandusky; Tracey (Joe) Wishon of Marion; 7 grandchildren: Shane (Tammy Jo) Long; Sean (Heather) Long of Marion; Matt (Jennie) Hudson of Marysville; Curt (Kim) Thompson of Marion; Kyle Thompson of Prospect; Dylan Long of Marion; Samantha Long of Marion, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Peg loved to spend time with her family, quilt, play cards (especially ‘Hand & Foot’) & play board games. She formerly worked for Fulfillment, Todco, Columbia Gas and Walmart.
The family will receive family & friends for a ‘Celebration of Life’ on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Bible Baptist Church – 404 S. Oak St., Marysville, OH from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM followed by the service at 11:00.
