Melba J. Reiff, age 88 of Marion, died early Wednesday morning, November 25, 2015 at the Kingston Residence of Marion.
She was born July 8, 1927 in Marion to the late Clarence and Layla (Powell) Austin. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert R. Reiff, they were married on July 26, 1947 in Marion, Ohio and he died December 1, 1995. Also preceding her in death are 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
Melba was employed as an LPN at Marion General Hospital and Community Med Center in Marion, Ohio.
Melba and her husband retired to Port Richey, Florida and she lived there for the next 25 years until she returned to Marion, Ohio in March of 2014.
Melba has two children: Linda (Roger) Epley of Marion and Frederick (Gail) Reiff of Euless, Texas; 2 grandchildren: Laura Reiff of Euless, Texas and David (Julie) Reiff of Denton, Texas; 2 great grandchildren: Jostyn and Levi Reiff of Denton, Texas and sisters: Alice Hawk of Marion and Charlene Williams of Upper Sandusky.
Graveside services will be held Friday, December 4, 2015 at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens at 11AM.
