Michelle R. Sheppard, age 46, of Marion, died Saturday, December 5, 2015 at home.
Michelle was born January 6, 1969 in Marion, Ohio to Ronald L. and Winona M. (Huston) Williams.
Michelle graduated from Ambridge High School in Ambridge, PA in 1987 and attended The Ohio State University Marion.
Michelle married Matthew Sheppard on August 2, 2008, who survives in Marion.
Michelle worked as a manager of Fashion Bug and as a Team Leader for GTE and Verizon. Michelle attended The Fairpark Community Baptist Church, was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt and known by many as “Momma Golden.” Michelle was a strong, loving and devoted person who will be missed by many.
In addition to her mother, Winona and husband, Matt, Michelle is survived by her children, Spencer and Sydnee Golden; grandchildren, Shane and Shauna Jones; and brother, Timothy (Suzy) Williams as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Michelle is preceded in death by her father, Ronald Williams and brother, Shane Williams.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Gudner/Hall & Snyder Funeral Home from 4 until 8 pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 10, 2015 at The Fairpark Community Baptist Church at 10:30 am with Pastor Jestin Schrake officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
