Esther Reed, age 93, of Marion, passed away at the Presidential Center on Saturday January 9, 2016.
She was born on January 27, 1922 to the late Rufus and Effie (Plants) Moodespaugh. Esther married the late Albert Reed on September 5, 1940 in Mount Gilead, OH. Albert passed away on August 7, 1996 in Marion.
She was a member of the Euclid Avenue Mission. She loved her family and friends. Esther will truly be missed.
Esther is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Albert Reed; one son: Larry Reed; four sisters and one brother.
She is survived by one daughter-in-law: Judy Reed; six grandchildren: Rick Reed, Richelle Reed, Beth Reed-Lundquest, Malicia Reed-Purdy, Michael Kellermeier and Jessica Reed; ten great grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Euclid Avenue Mission on Tuesday January 12, 2016 starting at 10 AM to 12 PM. Funeral service will begin at 12 PM. Burial will follow the service at the Fulton Cemetery. Online condolences can be expressed to the family at www.boydbornfuneralhome.com
