John Robert Nemeth, age 69 of Marion, passed away at his residence on Friday, January 1, 2016.
He was born in Marion, Ohio on July 15, 1946 to the late George and Pauline (Dashkovitz) Nemeth.
John served his country during the Vietnam Conflict in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Harding High School. John was a machinist for the Tecumseh Products until it closed. After working at Tecumseh, he worked at Northern Telecom.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Elaine Martin and Evonne Nemeth; and one brother: James Nemeth.
John is survived by his companion of 20 years: Worletta Eckard; one daughter: Anna (Ryan) Knipp of Delaware; two brothers: Jerry (Judy) Nemeth of Marion and Jack Nemeth of Marion; and four grandchildren: Paige, Paris, Phoebe, and Rory.
A Memorial Service in honor of John Nemeth will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 11 AM at the Kensington Church of the Nazarene, 369 Kensington Place Marion, Ohio.
