Robert E. Ulery, age 90, of Marion passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016, at 10:20 PM in the Heartland of Marion.
He was born on June 1, 1925 in Marion, Ohio to Arthur C. and Ruth (Thornberg) Ulery.
Robert married Norma J. Postell on November 27, 1947 in the Wesley United Methodist Church of Marion and she survives.
He served in the U.S. Army during WW II and was a past member of the Eagles & Moose Lodges at Indian Lake. He retired in 1982 after 25 years of employment with B.F.Goodrich.
Surviving along with his wife; Norma are a son; Frank (Colleen) Ulery of Marion, OH., three granddaughters; Jacqueline McKee, Jennifer Shoaf, & Christina Richmond, five great grandchildren, and a sister-in-law; Mable Ulery of Lakeview, OH.
Robert was preceded in death by a daughter; Brenda Ulery and two brothers; Chuck & Carl Ulery.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Saturday, January 16, 2016, from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM. Rev. Ronald Douglas will be officiating the service and burial will follow in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.
