Suzanne McGuire, age 79, of Marion passed away peacefully at home on January 9th, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Suzanne was born on Tuesday November 10, 1936 to the late Floyd and Eva (Endsley) Cornely in Marion, Ohio. She was one of five daughters.
Suzanne was a 1954 graduate of Marion Catholic School. She furthered her education and achieved her degree as a Radiology Technician from Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science in Cincinnati graduating in 1957.
Suzanne married the love of her life, Leslie McGuire on June 21, 1958. They raised three wonderful children and enjoyed 55 years of marriage before he went on to prepare their heavenly home on October 5, 2013.
She had a heart of gold and cared for many patients during her career as a radiology technician. Suzanne retired from Morrow County Hospital in 2001.
Suzanne love gardening and enjoyed time spend in her flower garden weeding and taking care of all her plants. If she wasn’t in her garden, Suzanne could be found cleaning her home and most importantly the windows. Most of all she treasured making many memories with her children, grandchildren, and friends.
Suzanne will be dearly missed by her children Daniel A. (Kim) McGuire, Molly A. Arter, and Leslie A. (John) Dye; sisters Margaret (Don) West, Linda Jill (Bob) Zimmerman, and Eva Jane (Mike) Mann; 6 grandchildren, and 11 greatgrandchildren.
She was met at Heaven’s gate by her parents, husband, daughter Mary Kathleen McGuire, Sister Rosemary Coulson, and son-in-law Greg Arter.
