A. Jeanne Caudill, 88, of Marion passed away on Thursday afternoon, February 11, 2016, at her residence.
She was born on May 17, 1927 in Mason County, West Virginia to Loys V. and Bessie B. (Pearson) Austion.
Jeanne married John H. Caudill in Pomeroy, Ohio on September 14, 1946 and he preceded her in death on August 2, 2011 in Marion.
She was a graduate of Mason Co. High School and attended Ohio State University. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia and attended the Fairpark Baptist Church while living in Marion.
A Marion resident for the past 58 years, Jeanne is survived by three sons; John R. (Pat) Caudill of Marion, OH., L. Benton (Carol) Caudill of Stockport, OH., & Jeffrey J. Caudill of Marion, OH., a daughter; Pamela S. Crouch of Marion, OH., a brother; Larry J. (Cheryl) Supple of Southside, W. VA., five grandchildren; Thomas Ballinger JR., Dr. Alicia Caudill, Cynthia Johns, Brian Caudill, & Kimberly Walter, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 65 years; John, one son; Charles L. Caudill, two brothers, and one sister.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Pastor Keith Irey will conduct a graveside service on Tuesday at 12:30 PM in the Grand Prairie Cemetery.
