Barbara Jean Reiser, age 69, of Marion passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016, at 3:40 PM in the Kobacker House, Columbus.
She was born in Dover, Ohio on January 17, 1947 to the late Roy Dennis and Betty (Fritz) Francis.
Barb married John E. Reiser in New Philadelphia, Ohio on June 27, 1970 and he survives.
She was a 1965 graduate of Dover High School and worked for 13 years at the Miller Studio in Dover.
Upon moving to Marion, OH. Barb worked as a receptionist at Visible Changes Hair Salon for 30 years before retiring in 2014.
Surviving along with her husband of 46 years; John, are a son; John E. (Magan) Reiser III of Marion, OH., a daughter; Tamra Lynn Reiser of Marion, OH., five grandchildren; Christopher Allen (Amber) Reiser, Kyrsten Nicole (Michael) Taylor, Jacob Tyler Stayner, Kiara Aspen Yost, & John E. Reiser IV, two great grandchildren; Alyssa N. Taylor & Isabella Taylor, and many special loved ones.
Friends may call at the Boler Activity Center, 590 Forestlawn Dr., Marion on Thursday, February 25, 2016, from 4:00 PM until service time at 7:00 PM. Pastor Scott Cline will be officiating. A graveside service will be held in the St. James Lutheran Cemetery, 215 Church St., Tuscarawas, OH., on Friday, February 26th, at 1:00 PM with burial to follow.
