Betty Jo Unroe age 85 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Thursday February 4, 2016 at her residence.
She was born October 16,1930 in Carey, Ohio to the late Callie and Ida (Marshall) Risner.
On January 22,1949 in Angola, Indiana she married Aaron Franklin Unroe and he survives.
Betty was a member of Home Missionary Holiness Church.
Besides her husband, she also leaves behind two daughters and a son; Ida (John) Gruber and Clova (Gary) Novik both of Marion, Ohio, and Patrick (Phyllis) Unroe of Huffman, Texas. Six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren survive as well as two brothers; Bernard and Clair Risner both of Stockbridge, Mi.
Betty was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Heather Grannamann, and a sister, Dorothy Newell and a brother, Roger Risner.
Funeral services will be on Monday February 8, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Gary Carr. Burial will follow in the Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday February 7, 2016 from 4 to 7 P.M.
