John A Brown age 87 of Marion, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Marion Manor Nursing Home.
He was born January 25, 1929 in Marion, Ohio to the late Evan and Ora Mae (Ballinger) Brown. On March 18, 1967 he married Linda J. (Coulson).
John was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was employed at Hamilton Stone Quarry for 38 years.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Brown of Marion, his children, Diana (Kevin) Wallace of Marion, Dorothy (John) Clunk of Marion, Jim (Beth) Brown of Attica, Larry (Carol) Brown of Marion, Tracy (Loretta) Hartman of Marion, Norman D. Hartman II of Marion, 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Jack Brown, two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation for John will be Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 1 – 2 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 PM at Grand Prairie Cemetery with Pastor Bill Middleton officiating.
