Marilyn Lucille Custer, age 80 of Marion, Ohio, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday February 2, 2016 at the Kingston Residence of Marion.
She was born on August 3, 1935 in Marion to the late Homer E. and Velma (Wormell) Nagley. On October 27, 1951 in Ft. Wayne, IN, she married the late Dwight Henry Custer, who passed on March 2, 2014. They spent 62 wonderful years together.
Marilyn retired from the Marion City Schools after numerous years. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother Carl Nagley from Columbus, OH.
Marilyn is survived by two daughters: Marcia K. (Keith) Denman of Greenville, OH and Dawn J. (Jeff) Ballantyne of Edison, Ohio; one son: Robin L. Custer of Marion, OH; three grandsons: Nicholas R. Fetter, Chad J. and Scott Denman and one sister: Phyllis Grimm of Fredricktown, Ohio.
Visitation will be held at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Saturday February 6, 2016 starting at 10 am to 11 am. Graveside service will be held around 11:30 am at the Claridon Cemetery officiated by Pastor Don Diehl and Pastor Steve deWeber of the First Church of the Nazarene.
