Barbara J. Gruber age 70 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Marion General Hospital. She was born August 30, 1945 in Marion, Ohio to the late William and Margaret (Ballinger) Barrett.
Barbara was employed at GTE for six years, attended Fairpark Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her lifelong love of 40 years, Al Gruber of Marion, her children, Tracey (Yvonne) Cooperider of Marion, Todd (Ursula) Cooperider of Blacklick, Ohio, Dena (Paul) Glosser of Marion, Jenny (Joel) Hagy of Huron, Ohio, her mother in law, Ada Gruber of Marion, six grandchildren, Quinton (Ashley) Cooperider, Tyler Cooperider, Gabrielle Cooperider, Cameron Cooperider, Logan Glosser, Cora Glosser, Harper Hagy and Campbell Hagy, one great grandchild on the way, her sister Lynda Barrett O’Neill and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Billy and her sister Shirley.
Visitation for Barbara will be held Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 1 – 3 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Burial will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice in Barbara’s memory.
