Betty E. Watters McClaren, age 87, of Marysville, Ohio, formerly of Marion, Ohio, passed away at Memorial Gables on Thursday, March 3, 2016.
On November 5, 1928, she was born to the late Murray Watters and Fred and Opal (Grandstaff) Keil, and in 1950, she married the late Donald E. McClaren.
She was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church, the Martha Douce Dance Club, the Hicks and Chicks Dance Club, and the #448 Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose Lodge. She is survived by her daughter Karen (Ken) Milburn of Marysville, Ohio; her godson Chris Tracey of Caledonia, Ohio; her three grandchildren Doug (Sherri) Wilson, Tina Milburn, and Lisa (Tim Wagner) Wilson; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald E. McClaren and her son Scott McClaren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 12 PM to 1 PM at the Emanuel Lutheran Church. Services will follow at the Emanuel Lutheran Church at 1 PM with A.I.M. Kevin Kehn officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Heights Cemetery.
