Carl Eugene Moury, age 78 of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the Primose Retirement Community of Marion, Ohio.
He was born on January 24, 1938 in Marion to the late Carl E. and Alice E. (Smith) Moury. On April 6, 1960 in Marion, Ohio, Carl married Ruth Ann Reynolds.
Carl served our country in the United States Navy. He retired from the Whirlpool Corporation after more than 38 years of service. He is a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter: Malissa Moury and one sister: Phyllis Phieffer.
Carl is survived by his wife: Ruth Ann Moury; four daughters: Kimberly (Kress) Warrick of Valley, AL, Karla (Terry) King of Marion, OH, Melinda Moury of Marion, OH and Carolyn (Jason) Johnson of Marion, OH; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren and two brothers: Clarence Moury of Lamont, FL and Don (Loretta) Moury of Cardington, OH.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Liberty Baptist Church on Woodrow Avenue at 1:00 PM with Rev. Christopher Bray officiating. Family will be receiving friends following the service at the church.
