David E. Walter age 77 of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 09, 2016 at his residence. He was born December 1, 1938 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Ermin and Evelyn (Hotteling) Walter.
On June 24, 1960 he married Mary P. Albright.
David was owner of Custom Canvas and Upholstery for 30 plus years in Port Clinton, formerly owned Buckeye Collision Service in Marion.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Walter of Port Clinton, OH, two daughters, Rebecca (Joe) Schmuker of Marion, OH, Laura (George) Williams of Vickery, OH, two grandchildren, Joel Schmuker and Jorden Schmuker, his brother, Ronald White of Marion, OH, and his sister, Karen Nance of Marion, OH.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 10 am to 12 noon at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 noon Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Gale Green officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.
