Keith “Mike” E. Manning, age 79 of Marion, passed away peacefully at 6:35 a.m. on Friday March 25, 2016 at the Marion General Hospital in Marion, Ohio.
He was born in Hepburn, OH to the late Howard R. and Francis M. (Tannyhill) Manning on December 20, 1936. Keith “Mike” married Virginia on September 16, 1961. Keith and Virginia shared a wonderful life together for 54 years.
Keith’s true love was his wife, family and his dog, Truffles. He also loved his Harley’s, cars and all kinds of animals. Virginia and Keith loved travelling, especially loved Sunday afternoon rides on his motorcycle. He started as a machinist at Huber in Marion then retired from HPM in Mt. Gilead, OH after 20 plus years.
Keith is survived by two daughters: Dawn (Walt) McClure of Marion and Becky (Laurel) Harriman of Morral; a granddaughter: Abigail; a great-granddaughter: Kylee; a sister and two brothers. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter: Latoya and one grandson: Christopher.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home in Marion from 5pm to 7pm. A Graveside service will be on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11 am at the Marion Cemetery.
