Aaron (Bang) Meeker Parish, 88, of Marion

Aaron (Bang) Meeker Parish, 88, Marion, Ohio, died April 18, 2016. He was born July 20, 1927 in LaRue, Ohio.

He was the son of the late Pearl and Mabel (Bryant) Parish.

On March 21, 1953, was married to the late Lucille (Gantt) Parish in Richmond, Indiana.

He was a graduate of LaRue High School and served with the U.S. Army.

Retired from Whirlpool in 1984 he was a resident in the LaRue and Marion area his entire life.

He is survived by three daughters; Deborah (Don) Davie of Marion, Christine (Jim) Seiter of Marion, Carol (Doug) Schultz of Prospect, a son Bill (Melva) Parish of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. One sister, Ellen Emptage of Upper Sandusky. Four brothers and two sisters are deceased.

Calling hours will not be observed, graveside services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are made by Boyd-Born Funeral Home in Marion, Ohio.
