Charlotte R. Baldauf, age 92, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Primrose of Marion.
Charlotte was born March 24, 1924 in Shelby, OH to the late Bryan A. and Ruby G. (Manahan) Kime.
Charlotte graduated from Shelby High School and moved to Marion, at the age of 16, to work at The Huber Manufacturing Factory and later worked for the Army Depot.
On May 20, 1948, Charlotte married Raymond E. Baldauf. Together they shared many wonderful years of marriage traveling around the United State and visiting family in Florida. Raymond predeceased Charlotte on March 18, 1994.
Charlotte was a crafty woman and enjoyed knitting, painting, and paper-maker. She enjoyed adult art classes where she made several lifelong friends. Although Charlotte never had children, she enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews grow up and always had a family dog.
Charlotte is survived by brothers, Robert Kime of Florida and Lawrence Kime of Cridersville, OH; and nieces and nephews, Robin (Tom) Peacock, Deborah (Gary) Spangler, Jill (James) Blunt, Amber (Christopher) Burkett, and Jeffrey Kime.
Charlotte was predeceased by one brother, David Dean Kime.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 18, 2016 at Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 11:30 AM with a 11:45 AM graveside service at The Historic Marion Cemetery with Celebrant Mark Schuring officiating. If so desired, memorial donations may be made in Charlotte’s honor to the Marion Palace Theater.
