Joey R. Runyon, age 28 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Marion General Hospital. He was born on October 31, 1987 in Marion, Ohio to Randy J. Runyon and Julie K. (Ansley) White.
Joey was a U. S. Army Veteran and was a member of the American Legion Post #584. He was employed at Robot Worx as a welder and robot technician.
He is survived by his father, Randy (Kimberly) Runyon of Marion, his mother, Julie White of Marion, his grandfather, Charles Runyon of Marion, daughters, Chloe Webb, Kelsey Runyon, Accalia Runyon all of Marion, mother of his children, Jennifer Runyon of Marion, brothers, Dalton White of Marion, Colton Brooks of Marion, Chase Brooks of Marion, step-father, Mark White of Marion and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 4 – 8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 19, 2016 @ 10:30 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Don Howell officiating. Burial will take place at Grand Prairie Cemetery where military services will be conducted by the Marion County United Veterans Council.
