Michael Ray Gamble, 56, of Marion

Michael Ray Gamble, age 56, of Marion, died Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Marion General Hospital.

Michael was born in Marion, Ohio on May 27, 1959 to the late Hassel and Norma June (Dorton) Gamble. He graduated from Marion Harding High School and Tri-Rivers where he was an avid football, baseball and basketball player.

Michael worked for Fairfield Engineering and The White Mule Company as a welder.  Michael enjoyed watching all kinds of sports especially The Buckeyes and The Reds.

Michael is survived by wife, Carol (Gibson) Gamble; children, Serria and James Gamble, and brothers; Bruce and Phil Gamble.  Michael is predeceased by brothers, Tim and Eugene Gamble.

Friends may call at Gunder/Hall & Snyder Funeral Home Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 5 until 7 PM. A funeral service celebrating Michael’s life will be held 11AM Thursday, May 19, 2016.  Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s honor to Snyder Funeral Homes to assist with final expenses.
