Sheila Kay Curren, 56, of Prospect, Ohio passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 8:43 PM in the Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born on June 7, 1959 in Wayland, Kentucky to the late Beverage and Mary (Colegrove) Moore.
Sheila married Steven E. Curren on June 27, 1986 in Marion, Ohio and he survives. She is also survived by two sons; Dean (Traci) Allard of Delaware, OH. & Daniel (Megan) Allard of Marengo, OH., two sisters; Ella (Rafael) Estrada of Marion, OH. & Teresa (Darrell Sr.) McCoy of Caledonia, OH. and two grandchildren; Jonah & Lucas Allard.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents and a brother; Beverage Moore Jr.
Sheila retired as a corrections officier in 2010 after 20 years of service working at the Marion Correctional Institute, the Women’s Reformatory in Marysville, and as a Sargent with the Multi-County Correctional Center.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM in the funeral home with burial to follow at a later date. Rev. Earl Tackett will officiate.
