William E. Williamson age 90 of Marion, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Marion General Hospital. He was born July 3, 1925 in Union County, Ohio to the late Lloyd and Mildred (Fleck) Williamson.
On September 17, 1945 in Greenup, Ky. he married Anna E. (Ratterman) Williamson, she preceded him in death on September 19, 2015.
He was employed at HPM as a machinist for 30 plus years. He was a member of HPM Retirees Club and attended Community Christian Center in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
He is survived by his children, Gary L. (Verna) Williamson of Big Island, OH., William A. (Molly) Williamson of Upper Sandusky, OH., Karen K. (Kenneth) Kurz of South Hill, VA., 8 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, his half brother, Larry (Peggy) Hamilton of Union County, OH. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Williamson, his sister, Mary Mann and a grandson, Jason Williamson.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 20, 2016 from 6 – 8 PM and Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 10 -11 AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 21, 2016 @ 11AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Williamson officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.
