Donna M. Simpson 67 of Marysville, died Friday May 20,2016 at the Heartland of Marysville.
She was born April 30, 1949 in Plain City to the late Lonnie and Margaret (Jester) Griffith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, William Simpson; son, Jeremy Broderick; grandson, Brandon Nelson; two brothers, David and Kenny Griffith; a sister, Luella Woten; and ex-husband Charles Simpson.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed family cookouts and spending holidays with family and friends. Donna was an avid OSU, NASCAR, and Cincinnati Bengals fan and was a member of the Eagles.
She is survived by her sons, Jarret (Stacy) Broderick, Newark and Joshua Broderick, South Portland, Maine; daughters, Tanya (Doug) Smith, Marysville and Tammy(Warren Hetrick) Nelson, Marion; step-sons, Christopher (Julie) Simpson, Delaware; Robert Simpson, Marysville; brothers, Dwight Griffith, Darwin Griffith, Eddie (Barbara) Griffith and Ronnie (Ruby) Jester; sisters, Arlene Gerfen, Sue (Frank) Terry and Charlotte Mayberry; 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Life Gathering will be held Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 2 to 4 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood.
