Rebecca J. Suarez, age 52 of Marion, passed away on Tuesday June 21, 2016 at Marion Pointe.
Rebecca was born on January 30, 1964 in Kenton, the daughter of Ron Martino and Jeanette (Teets) Watterson.
Rebecca was a devoted member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church where she was very involved with the quilting group and sang in the choir. She also volunteered every Thanksgiving at the church’s Thanksgiving Day dinner outreach.
She is survived by her children: Frank (Lyndzi) Geopfert of Columbus, Stephen Geopfert of North Carolina and Aaron Suarez of Columbus; grandson Wesley Geopfert; father Ron Martino of Columbus; step-father Freddie Watterson of Richwood and her brother Robert Martino of Tuscan, AZ.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her mother, her brother Ronald Martino and her daughter Angel Geopfert.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 241 S Prospect St, Marion at 11AM with Rev. Mark Schuring officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Emanuel Lutheran Church, Quilters Guild.
