Stanley Richard Spears, 72, of Marion passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016, at 2:43 PM in the Kindred Care Facility.
He was born April 30, 1944 in Marion, Ohio to the late Homer and Eva (Austin) Spears.
Stanley retired in 2003 as a heavy equipment operator for the Ohio Department of Transportation after 33 years of service.
The lifelong Marion resident is survived by a son; Eric (Maxine) Spears of Abilene, TX., and three sisters; Sheryl Boggs of Marion, OH., Marlene (Robert) Black of Marion, OH., & Carolyn (Walt) Wilson of Morral, OH.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and three sisters. No calling hours or funeral service will be conducted at this time. A private family burial will take place in the Meeker Cemetery at a later date.
