Jerry Lee Morgan, age 66 of Marion, passed away at his residence on Monday September 5, 2016 surrounded by family.
Jerry entered this world on April 8, 1950 to the late Fredrick and Virginia Ann (Snare) Morgan in Marion, Ohio. On November 2, 1966 in Marion, Ohio, he married the love of his life of 48 years Judy Diane (McDonald).
He was a member of the Body of Christ Church. Jerry loved the outdoors since he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a great husband, father and grandfather. Jerry will truly missed by his family and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law: Frank Cole.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years: Judy Morgan; his children: Jerry and Jennifer Morgan Jr., Marion, Jennifer and Daryl Coffey, Marion, Rebecca and Phillip Addis Knoxville, TN, Jody Morgan, Marion, Erica Morgan, Marion, Brenda Morgan, Marion, Cristie Parsons, Marion, Judy and Jerry Plotner, Marion; his siblings: Joyce and Mark Smith, Cindy and Danny Brown, Marion, Marlene and Steve Townsend, Marion, JoAnn Thompson, Cardington, Linda Cole, Marion, Fredrick Allen Morgan, Marion and Kathy Morgan, Marion; 37 grand children and 37 great grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family would like to recognize his second family, his coworkers at the City of Marion, where he retired from after 32 years.
Family will be having a memorial service on Monday September 19, 2016 at 4:30pm at the Gebhardt Enterprise Baptist Church to honor the life of Jerry Lee Morgan. A Celebration of Life will follow the memorial service at the Baseball for Youth at 506 Leader Street.
