Zachary T. Warner, 34, of Bucyrus

Zachary T. WarnerZachary T. Warner, 34, of Bucyrus died Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, succumbing to injuries from a roadside tragedy in Fitchville while at work.

Zack was born May 30, 1982 in Marion to Terry and Maxine (Lust) Warner. He went to Bucyrus Schools where he played baseball, football, and wrestled, and graduated in 2000. Never one to be lazy, Zack was a hard worker who loved being outside. This led to his work as a tree trimmer, first with Asplundh and he joined the team at Oberlander’s in recent weeks.

Taken far too soon, those who knew Zack will miss his jovial and loving free spirit. Even in tough times, Zack dressed well, put on his million dollar smile and was genuinely happy to see and catch up with countless friends. He loved Ohio State football and the Bengals, Indians, and Cavs. Time with his girls, friends, and family were his greatest joy including taking his girls to Cedar Point this summer.

In addition to his parents, Zack is survived by his daughter, Alexis Payne, stepdaughter, Shelby Payne, and their mother, Carri Payne. He also leaves his sister, Tessa (Eric) Pekarcik and their daughters, Josie and Caroline; grandmother, Florence Warner; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceding him in death were grandparents, Richard Warner and Dan and Frances Lust.

Family will receive friends on Friday, November 25 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wise Funeral Service in Bucyrus where Zack’s funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 am with longtime family friend, Bernie France officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions may give at the funeral home to the Humane Society serving Crawford County or to the Zack Warner Memorial Fund to assist with Alexis’ future needs. Memories and photos can be shared on Zack’s tribute page at www.wisefuneral.com.
