Stella Mae Tyree, 85, of Marion

Our angel on earth Stella Mae Tyree passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018 to join the angels in heaven. She was born on March 24, 1933 in Whitesburg, Kentucky, the daughter of John Henry and Melda (Collins) Tyree.

Stella Mae loved Elvis Presley and was a real fan. She collected bells of all kinds from all over the world.

She was born with cerebral palsy, and even though she struggled every day for 85 years, she never complained. She is looking forward to meeting her loved ones in heaven and finding a new body, with no more pain and suffering. She loved everyone, and everyone loved her.

She is survived by her brothers Junior Tyree, Jack (Ann) Tyree, and Michael (Debbie) Tyree; her sisters Thelma Cornett Caudill, Kathy (Don) Green, and Judy (Gary) Fisker; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her very much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Clarence (Kathleen) Tyree; her sisters Helen (Lynn) Goring and Marietta (Ed) Robinson; her sister-in-law Clara Tyree; nephews Steve Tyree, Finley Tyree, Joseph Hall, and Jorden Hall; and her nieces Crystal DeGood and Yvonne Olinger.

Friends may call on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 10 am to 12 pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Services will take place on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 12 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery.
