KASA (Kingdom Alive Soccer Association) is a faith-based soccer organization in Marion providing opportunities for young players to play competitive soccer in a Columbus league.
The organization is in need of boys and girls with birth dates between August 1, 2000 and July 31, 2003. Typically, these are 6th – 8th graders; although they say they do have some 5th graders playing in this program. The number of players responding and completing a tryout will determine how many teams and which age brackets they will be able to sponsor this fall (2014).
Tryouts for KASA soccer teams will be held Friday, June 20, 2014 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm and Saturday, June 21 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Pre-registration is required by contacting the coaches below. Players only need to sign up for one 30-40 minute session.
Practices will start in July. Games will start by the last week of August or the first week of September.
Also, KASA is in need of experienced and qualified assistant coaches.
