The Marion Police Department is investigating a break-in at the Harding Home. Police say a dog collar made for President Warren G. Harding’s Airedale Terrier appears to be the only thing taken. This is the first such incident to have occurred at the Harding Home in at least the last 20 years.

Harding Home Event Steps into the Past
Civil War enthusiasts are in for a treat as “Voices of the Union’s War“ is presented at 7 p.m. June 7 under the tent on the grounds of the Harding Home. Three distinct voices from the 1861-64 conflict will converge as photographer Mathew Brady, President Abraham Lincoln and a soldier with the Ohio Colored Troops reveal their thoughts and experiences.
MTC Taking Over Harding Home Management
The Ohio Historical Society will conduct a public meeting on Tuesday, April 13 to solicit input concerning the future management of the Harding Home & Tomb by the Marion Technical College.
The meeting will take place at 7:00pm in Room 120 A of the Marion Technical College’s Library/Classroom Building, which is located at 1465 Mount Vernon Ave., Marion.
