On Saturday, June 4, the Meeker Sportsman Club will hold it's annual Fishing Derby. Kids 15 and under are invited to put away the video games and do some real life fishing in the outdoors.
The event is free of charge and fishing equipment is provided to those who need it.
Registration and orientation begin promptly at 9:00 am. Fishing will end at 11:30 with a free lunch and door prizes of fishing gear.
Pre-registration is not required but will guarantee your child a door prize. Rain date is set for June 11.
