Marion area kids are invited to grab a cab and head to the Big Apple Adventure Vacation Bible School, scheduled July 18-22 at Central Baptist Church, 2816 Marion-Waldo Road in Marion.
The program is set for 9:30 a.m. to noon each day and is free and open to all area children from age 4 to those entering the sixth grade.
Amid the exciting sounds of the city, kids will learn that they can connect faith and life through a relationship with Jesus. The Big Apple Adventure is a place where kids can discover answers found in God’s Word and also enjoy songs, crafts, games and snacks, said VBS Director Nancy Thrush.
Although registrations are welcome during the week of bible school, Thrush encouraged parents to register their children in advance. Registration forms are available from the Central Baptist Church office or online at
